The beloved duo, Rob and Holly, are back in the afternoons at Audacy Country 99.5 WYCD, and they're bringing their award-winning show to brighten up your day. But here's where it gets interesting: this move is part of a larger shake-up at the station.
Rob Stone and Holly Hutton, the dynamic duo behind "The Rob and Holly Show," have had quite the journey. They initially left the afternoon slot at WYCD in 2020 to host nights across Audacy's Country stations, but now they're returning to their roots. And this is the part most people miss: they'll continue hosting nights in other markets while also being syndicated nationally by Infinity Networks, a true testament to their talent and popularity.
Stone, a WYCD veteran since 2011, has hosted both nights and afternoons, previously spending four years at WITL Lansing MI. Hutton joined him in 2017, bringing her own unique experience, including a decade-long stint hosting middays on the Alternative "89X" CIMX Windsor ON and a role as Program Director at "94.3 The Bone" in Detroit.
On the other hand, Sean 'Coop' Tabler, who also hosts mornings at Classic Hits "Big 98.1" WOGL Philadelphia, is moving to nights at WYCD. Prior to the 2020 lineup revamp, Coop had been tracking middays at WYCD, and now he's back with a familiar and beloved voice to host Detroit's Country Nights.
